DESCRIPTION:Dear friends \nYou are invited to attend the Ordinary Annual General Meeting of our associationto be held on Saturday February 15\, 2025starting at 9:30 a.m. \nAt Forum 104 – Salle des Glycines\nOur meeting will be divided into two parts:the general meeting of members in the morning\, with elections for the renewal of the Board of Directors\,and after a packed lunch on site\, we invite you to join us for a convivial afternoon. \n \nProceedings of the Annual General Meeting\n9:30am: Welcome and registration10:00am: Opening of Ordinary General Meeting \n\nTreasurer’s financial report and general secretary’s activity reportChairman’s moral report\nElection of board members\nPresentation of the Board’s plans for 2025\,\nDiscussion with the audience\n\n12:30 p.m.: Lunch2:00 p.m.: Social time \n\nAnnouncement of photo contest winners and prize-giving ceremony\nPresentation of the Jacobean award to pilgrims who have obtained the Compostela in 2024.\nSurprise entertainment followed by a welcome drink\n\nMembers wishing to stand for election to the Board of Directors of the Société Française des Amis de Saint-Jacques de Compostelle are invited to submit their application to the President before February 1st. Members must have been members for at least two years and be up to date with their membership fees.  \nThere are vacancies on the Board of Directors for people who can bring us their skills in academic relations\, public relations\, social networking\, communications\, website management\, IT in general… \nIf you are unable to attend the General Meeting\, you may be represented by another member of the association witha valid power of attorney. \nThe power of attorney must be sent to the company before February 1\, 2025. \nWe remind you that\, in accordance with our by-laws\, only members who have paid their membership fees may take part in the vote.We hope to see many of you\, and look forward to seeing you on this occasion.
