SUMMARY:Paris discovery walk: From Pont Cardinet to Porte de Montreuil
DESCRIPTION:From Pont Cardinet to Porte de Montreuil. 16 km approx.  \n\nRendezvous at 9.45am at the Pont Cardinet metro station\, in the hall in front of the Décathlon store at the corner of Rue Mstislav Rostropovitch and Rue Cardinet; \n\nDeparture 10 am; 3.50 for entrance to Asnières animal cemetery. \n\nWe’ll be walking from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.\, with a one-hour break for lunch: picnic if the weather permits\, or small restaurant. End of walk: Porte de Montreuil around 5pm.  \n\nRegistration from January 6 to 8\, 2025 with Monique the organizer \n\nGroup size limited to 20 participants.  All participants are asked to be vigilant\, to walk on sidewalks\, to respect traffic lights and to cross at crosswalks. All participants walk at their own risk. It is always possible to stop if you feel tired\, but you must inform the organizer beforehand. If weather conditions are too bad\, the walk will be postponed to a later date.   .

DESCRIPTION:Via francigena\, Via ligeria: the great road to Rome on the eve of the Jubilee\n\n\n\nAs part of the 7th “Des chemins et des hommes” cycle\, round-table discussion (with photo projection) moderated by Gaële de La Brosse\, journalist with the weekly Le Pèlerin. \n\nA thousand-year-old path linking Canterbury (England) to Rome\, the Via Francigena has been enjoying a marked revival over the last ten years. Cyprien Mycinski and Clara Gaymard walked the Italian section\, while Anthony Grouard and Anne-Laure Timmel set off from Nantes\, tracing the Via ligeria.    \n\nGreat pilgrimage ideas for the Rome Jubilee of 2025! \n\n\nClara Gaymard\, entrepreneur\, is co-founder of RAISE and the Mouvement pour une économie bienveillante. She is the author of   Life is happiness. Jérôme Lejeune\, my father   (Fleurus\, 2003); Faut qu’on parle (Plon\, 2016)\, and Ma francigena (L’éditeur à part\, 2024).\n\n\n\nAnthony Grouard and Anne-Laure Timmel are the founders of Haltes pèlerines en Loire-Atlantique&Via ligeria\, and organize the annual Forum nantais des chemins.
