A last tribute to our General Secretary Monique Jacob

The Board of Directors of the Société Française des Amis de Saint-Jacques de Compostelle is deeply saddened to announce the sudden death of Monique Jacob, its General Secretary since 2021 .

A tireless walker, devoted to the cause of Santiago de Compostela, Monique will be remembered as a generous and dynamic pilgrim.

May Santiago receive her and accompany her to the end of her pilgrimage on earth.

The tribute ceremony will be held on Wednesday, April 9, 2025

with mass at 10:30 a.m. at Notre-Dame de la Gare

place Jeanne d’Arc, Paris 13è

and cremation at Père Lachaise at 2:30 p.m.
