Société Française at the Forum des Associations 2024

On Saturday, September 7, the Forum des Associations de Paris 5 et Paris 6
was held in the Mairie du 5ème and on the Place du Panthéon.

At the Forum, there was an impressive number of associations represented, hence the need to open several venues….

The Société Française des Amis de Saint Jacques de Compostelle was present.
The Forum was well attended, despite the gloomy weather and the threat of rain.

At our stand, volunteers took it in turns to answer visitors’ many questions, listen to the stories of those who have already done the Way, and advise those who haven’t yet ventured out.
It was also an opportunity to meet other association members and interesting people, such as the young man who was a guide at Conques Abbey this summer.

All the participants – Monique, Lydie, Elisabeth, Martha and Christiane – were delighted with the experience and hope to repeat it next year.
