SFASJC at the destinations nature trade show
From March 14 to 17, 2024, the Société Française des Amis de Saint-Jacques de Compostelle had a stand for the 2nd year running at the Destinations Nature trade show at the Porte de Versailles exhibition center.
The stand was well positioned. Over the 4 days, the stand was very busy. Volunteers took it in turns to answer visitors’ many questions:
- how to prepare your way?
- how to find accommodation
- do you have to walk with poles?
- where to start?
- …
For some, it was an opportunity to reassure themselves about the route they had planned, while for others, who had dreamed of one day setting off on the Camino, it was a chance to realize that their dream was quite feasible.
All the volunteers on the stand were delighted with the experience and hope to repeat it next year.
