As part of the “Des chemins et des hommes” series

Two round-table discussions with Marie-Ève Humery and Henri de Courtivron, followed by Danièle Tournié, Gérard Harlay and Françoise Labouille (moderated by Gaële de La Brosse, journalist with the weekly magazine Le Pèlerin)

The pilgrimage to Santiago de Compostela is such a powerful experience that when you return, you want to share it with others. How do you find the words? How do you bring back evocative images? And, for those with an artistic bent, why not try a few drawings? Two authors of books (a narrative and a watercolor notebook) and two pilgrims familiar with various techniques of expression (blogs, writing workshops, travel notebooks). will answer these questions.

Marie-Ève Humery is the author of Sept grâces sur le chemin de Compostelle (Salvator, 2020) and Henri de Courtivron du Carnet du chemin du Puy-en-Velay à Saint-Jacques-de-Compostelle (IBAcom, 2019); Danièle Tourniéwriting workshop leader, and Gérard Harlayphotographer, are Compostelle 2000 pilgrims; Françoise Labouille, computer scientist and author of several blogs on the Way of St. James, is a member of the Société française des Amis de Saint-Jacques.

Reservations are recommended.

The round-table discussions will be followed by the prize-giving ceremony for the short-story competition organized by the Compostelle 2000 association, and a book-signing session for the authors in attendance.

Compulsory health pass, compulsory mask, respect for social distancing rules.
