Due to a last-minute setback, the walk from Coignières to Le Perray, passing through some beautiful countryside, originally scheduled for August 27, has been postponed to September 3.
About 23 km.
Meet at Gare Montparnasse at the end of the suburban departures platform at 8:00 am.
ROPO train at 8.20am, arriving at Coignières at 9.11am.
We follow the GR11 to Maincourt sur Yvette.
We then branch off onto the GR1C, crossing part of the Rambouillet forest.
We then drive along the magnificent Vaux de Cernay.
Walk at a pace of just over 4 km per hour.
Return via Le Perray en Yvelines station around 4-5pm.
