From Mortcerf to Marles en Brie – 11th stage of the GR1

18 km walk organized by Patrick at a pace of 4 km per hour

RDV Gare de l’est at 8am, train 8.17am on line P towards Coulommiers, arriving at Mortcerf at 9.15am.

Depart Mortcerf station on a 1.5 km wooded path to join the GR1. We then cross the Crécy forest to reach the Obelisk of Villeneuve de Comte, erected in 1735. We continue walking through the forest, then pass through fields to reach our picnic spot.

After a picnic lunch, there’s a further 5 km walk to Marles en Brie, where we’ll catch the train.

RETURN TO Marles en Brie STATION – 17h05, train every hour, direction Gare de L’est
