Hosting French-speaking pilgrims in Santiago: Call for applications for the 2025 season
Entries for 2025 are now open
- Everyone is invited to familiarize themselves with the Accueillant Charter to which full adherence will be required.
- Candidates should have experience of arriving in Santiago after a significant journey, preferably on foot.
- be fully available to welcome pilgrims, without any personal, medical, family or professional constraints throughout the fortnight,
- Priority will be given to applicants under 75 years of age.
- Candidates commit themselves definitively once acceptance of their application has been confirmed (confirmation will be sent by e-mail by January 18).
- to join the Webcompostella association when registering for the weekend (membership essential for legal cover),
- to attend the Zoom information meeting on Wednesday, January 29, 2025 from 7 to 9 p.m.
- to take part in the training weekend to be held in Le Puy en Velay from Friday, March 21, 2025 at 7 p.m. to Sunday, March 23 at 3:30 p.m. (attendance for the whole weekend is essential).
Candidates will formulate wishes for three fortnights (from the1st to the 15th of the month, or from the 16th to the 30th or 31st of the month). They undertake to be available for the periods they have chosen until confirmation, which will take place on January 18, 2025.
NB: In Santiago, the Webcompostella association covers accommodation in the apartment provided, as well as lunches. Other expenses are the responsibility of the hosts.
