The Société Française sponsored the Ecologie intégrale pilgrimage of 3 students, who set off on July1 and whom you may have followed on Instagram.
They set off as a trio, and finished as a pair in the sweltering heat of early July.

July 8
Yesterday Lilian had to leave us escorted by the fire department 15km after leaving Vézelay after walking more than 220km (He’s fine).
After several days with a jerky walking rhythm, he had to leave us in a hurry due to a possible inflammation of the left Achilles tendon. Today he’s in hospital in Avallon awaiting tests. He’s fine, but unable to continue our adventure…..

Hello Anne-Marie,
We wanted to let you know of our decision to conclude our pilgrimage here in Nevers, after walking over 320 km from Paris Sud.
These last few days have been physically demanding for Gabriel and me, but also deeply significant on a human level. We’re proud of what we’ve achieved, both in terms of the distance we’ve covered and the actions we’ve taken: walking, cleaning up the roads to Santiago de Compostela… but above all, experiencing unforgettable encounters….
