Spiritual preparation cycle 2026

Pilgrimage to Santiago de Compostela is not just about visiting a place to admire its artistic or cultural treasures. Setting out on a pilgrimage is a way of meeting ourselves, an action that also opens our hearts to stepping outside ourselves to meet God.

In order to help you integrate a spiritual dimension into your next 2026 Jacobean adventure, the Société Française des amis de Saint Jacques de Compostelle is organizing, at the association’s head office, 8 bis rue Jean Bart-75006 Paris, 3 spiritual preparation sessions for the Way from 10:30am to 12:00pm on :

A time of prayer is offered at 10am before each meeting, at the Eglise Saint Sulpice.

These meetings are led by Father Patrice Sonnier (chaplain at Hôpital Saint Joseph – lecturer at Collège des Bernardins in Paris) and coordinated by François Bourdeaux (Société Française) themselves pilgrims.

Father Patrice Sonnier’s spiritual guidance is informal.

He draws on his experience of the Camino and your expectations, which you can fill in on the registration form.
