2023 photo competition: Public prize-giving ceremony
On January 26, 2024, the public prize for the 2023 photo competition organized by SFASJC was announced at Forum 104, when the galette was shared with members of the Board of Directors, Association volunteers and members of the competition jury.

Everyone was invited to vote on the Instagram account created for the occasion, which thanks to Lidia, a member of the competition organizing committee, positions the Company in the social networking landscape.
The winners of this first edition were: Jean-Jacques Lacour, first prize; Michel Orivel, second prize; and Lucie Quéré, third prize and winner of the competition awarded by the jury at the Society’s General Meeting on November 25 at UNESCO.
First prize: Jean-Jacques Lacour,
His three photographic works received spectacular acclaim:
40 votes for “Le clin d’œil du pèlerin”,
37 for “Le chemin et moi”,
34 for the third,
accumulating an impressive total of 111 likes!
Second prize: Michel Orivel,
He was also praised by the public for his three photos:
32 likes for the face of Christ,
27 for the Basilique du Sacré-Cœur in Paray-le-Monial,
25 for the Catédrale Saint-Étienne in Briare, adding up to an appreciable total of 84 likes.
Friends and family of Jean-Jacques and Michel expressed their support by voting for their photos: that’s the real family of the path!

His photograph had already won a jury award, accumulating 31 likes. Proof of the power of an inspiring image, where pilgrims and jury were unanimous.
