A real success: The program combined an intellectual, epicurean, physical and spiritual dimension.
The radiant sunshine that accompanied us throughout the week also contributed, in the spirit of Santiago de Compostela, to making this event a space for encounters and exchanges where food for the spirit and the body were shared.

On April 3, Denise Péricard-Méa’s talk on “Le Camino – De Montrouge à Compostelle: Histoire de l’église de Montrouge”, preceded by a screening of Abbé Branthomme’s film “Le Chemin de Compostelle” (1953), was well attended.

On April 5, the “marche jacquaire”, with departure from the church of St Jacques Le Majeur and return to the church of St Jacques Le Majeur for a closing prayer, was a great success.

Also on the program for the weekend, a guided tour of the Church of Saint Jacques Le Majeur, and the “Breizh Marc’ Had” Breton gourmet market (Breton products, Coquille, with various activities including a drawing workshop) in Montrouge’s Allées Jean Jaurès.

Many thanks to all those who contributed to the success of these days (the Parish, the Town Hall and SFASJC), with a special mention for the children of Montrouge, particularly from the leisure centers who took part in the “Breizh Marc’ Had” drawing competition and workshop (over 50 youngsters aged 8 to 10).
A special thought for Father Marc Ketterer, who initiated the event, and Monique Jacob, who passed away at the end of December 2024 for the former, and just before the event for the latter…
