“The promise of the Father, a path to freedom”.

At the next spiritual preparation meeting, to be held on November 26 at 4pm at the association’s head office, Father Patrice SONNIER will propose the following theme:

” The Father’s promise, a path to freedoḿ. Today’s pilgrimage is the fruit of tradition and begins with Abraham’s exodus and God’s promise (Gen.12:1) “leave your country”. This tradition continues with the apostle James’ call to follow Christ. As you pilgrim, you discover that the Father is drawing you to be protagonists of a Living Tradition, with a mission: to evangelize. The reward promised to Abraham was not something that would enrich him and his lineage alone, but the universal offspring, which is the Church. In the same way, your reward for arriving at Santiago de Compostela will enrich not only you, but all those for whom you have been called. Your desire is personal and intimate, but it is born of a historical communitý and a people on the move, the Church. It’s a call to set out on a journey of conversion that will make us co-participants in Jesus’ liberating mission.
