To mark the 25th anniversary of the inclusion of the French Chemins de Saint-Jacques de Compostelle on UNESCO’s World Heritage List, the Société Française des Amis de Saint-Jacques de Compostelle has launched the publication by the Centre d’Etudes Compostellanes of the book “1958 de Parthenay à Compostelle”, a collective work coordinated by Jacques Vedel and designed by Jacques Le Ribault.

The launch took place at the Society’s annual general meeting, in the presence of key figures from the period – Jacques Vedel and Claude Chauvin – who signed the book and answered many questions. Copies can be ordered from the secretariat of the Société Française des Amis de Saint-Jacques de Compostelle.
Numbered copies are available to members on subscription: a tax receipt will then be issued for deduction from income tax as a donation to an organization of general interest for which the Society has obtained approval.
