General Meeting of the French Society of Friends of Santiago de Compostela (SFASJC)

Dear friends

You are invited to attend the Ordinary Annual General Meeting of our association
to be held on Saturday February 15, 2025
starting at 9:30 a.m.

At Forum 104 – Salle des Glycines

Our meeting will be divided into two parts:
the general meeting of members in the morning, with elections for the renewal of the Board of Directors,
and after a packed lunch on site, we invite you to join us for a convivial afternoon.

Proceedings of the Annual General Meeting

9:30am: Welcome and registration
10:00am: Opening of Ordinary General Meeting

• Treasurer’s financial report and general secretary’s activity report
  Chairman’s moral report
• Election of board members
• Presentation of the Board’s plans for 2025,
• Discussion with the audience

12:30 p.m.: Lunch
2:00 p.m.: Social time

• Announcement of photo contest winners and prize-giving ceremony
• Presentation of the Jacobean award to pilgrims who have obtained the Compostela in 2024.
• Surprise entertainment followed by a welcome drink

Members wishing to stand for election to the Board of Directors of the Société Française des Amis de Saint-Jacques de Compostelle are invited to submit their application to the President before February 1st. Members must have been members for at least two years and be up to date with their membership fees.

There are vacancies on the Board of Directors for people who can bring us their skills in academic relations, public relations, social networking, communications, website management, IT in general…

If you are unable to attend the General Meeting, you may be represented by another member of the association witha valid power of attorney.

The power of attorney must be sent to the company before February 1, 2025.

We remind you that, in accordance with our by-laws, only members who have paid their membership fees may take part in the vote.
