December 2021 – A word from the Chairman

Dear friends,

HUMILITY, PERSEVERANCE and PROJECTS for 2022

At our November 20 meeting, I reported on the actions we’ve taken over the past 3 years to maintain and strengthen our fine Society. We’ll give you a fuller account in the next “Echo des Chemins”.

With humility, the newly-elected (enlarged) Board of Directors will have to focus on what hasn’t been done, particularly for the Centre d’Etudes Compostellanes.

With perseverance, we will continue to open up the French Society to other Jacobean associations, undertaking joint actions if they are in the mutual interest of promoting the CAMINO.

As a member of the Board of Directors, at our next meeting on December 4, I will be proposing several key actions for the period ahead.

May we approach the coming weeks in a less difficult and worrying “climate”.

I sincerely thank everyone who has helped me and learned so much since November 11, 2016.
