Audiovisual conference (in person) by Alexandre and Sonia Poussin
Walking is about making yourself available. It means setting out to meet someone you don’t yet know, who will hold out a hand, open a door, share a part of himself with you.
It’s the first and foremost adventure. From then on, everything becomes a surprise, a gift, a miracle. Walking opens up the field of possibilities, where you can sow and reap happiness.
It’s a theme that the couple will be tackling on the basis of their travels around the world and on pilgrimage routes, notably to Compostela and Jerusalem.
The conference will be followed by a book signing.
Sonia and Alexandre Poussin are adepts of long-distance walking.
After a three-year honeymoon from the Cape of Good Hope to Lake Tiberias, they and their two children have just completed a four-year tour of Madagascar, which they describe in a book and documentary series.
Alexandre Poussin is also the author of Marche avant.
Vade-mecum à l’usage des aventuriers de grand chemin et des voyageurs immobiles (Robert Laffont, 2010). They both accompany pilgrims on the roads to Santiago de Compostela.
