SFASJC Annual General Meeting – Change of time and place

Dear friends,

You are invited to attend our association’s Annual General Meeting
to be held from from 1:30 pm Saturday November 25 :

at UNESCO, Room 4
7 place Fontenoy
Paris 7è

Our meeting will be divided into two parts:

• the general meeting of members,
• the commemoration of the 25th anniversary of the inclusion of the French Pilgrim’s Way to Santiago de Compostela on the Unesco World Heritage List.

The procedure will be as follows:

1:30 pm – 3 pm: Annual General Meeting

• 1:30 p.m.: welcome and registration
• 2pm: opening of the Annual General Meeting
• Treasurer’s financial report and general secretary’s activity report
• Chairman’s report
• Presentation of the Board’s plans for 2023/2024
• Santiago de Compostela award presented to pilgrims who obtained the Compostela in 2023
• Announcement of photo contest winners and prize-giving ceremony

3 pm – 5 pm: public session

• Welcoming guests
• Speech by the Ambassador, Permanent Delegate of France to UNESCO
• Presentation of the book “1958 De Parthenay à Compostelle” by Jacques Vedel and actors from the period
  Signing session.
