Award ceremony for the 2023 photo competition

Pilgrimage, a journey to the heart of the gaze

Participation in the competition closed on September 15, 2023. The prizes awarded by the jury were presented at the last Annual General Meeting.

The jury singled out Lucie Quéré, Dominique Butticaz and Anne Huret for their photos on the following themes “The path and me”,“Architecture and landscape”.

After the jury’s prize-giving ceremony on November 25 at UNESCO, the Société Française des Amis de Saint Jacques de Compostelle Photo Competition, which has already won the hearts of its members, continues on Instagram in the friendly atmosphere of the festive season.

A People’s Choice Award will be presented by a vote of Internet users via the instagram account : https://www.instagram.com/sfasjc_photo/

The winner will be determined by the number of “likes” from Internet users, whether or not they are SFASJC members.

The photos will be published progressively between now and Christmas, and the winner or winners with the most likes will be announced at the end of January at the traditional Galette des Rois.
