Claire Colette walked the “Via Averna” from Clermont-Ferrand to Cahors in autumn, and has written about it in her account, “Marcher à cœur ouvert”, de l’Auvergne vers Compostelle (Salvator, 2021).
Along the way, she experienced the vagaries of harsh weather, but also savored moments of gentleness, dazzling landscapes and warm encounters. The tête-à-tête with this little-known path invited her to discover her own “inner land”. She will share this open-hearted journey with us.
This videoconference will be hosted by Cécile Picco and Gaële de La Brosse, journalists with Le Pèlerin.
Claire Colette lives in the Belgian Ardennes. A retired social worker and sociologist, she runs workshops on preparing for long-distance walking and encounters with nature, as well as on the spirituality of the path.
She is the author of the books Compostelle:
La saveur du chemin (Academia, 2015) and Marcher à cœur ouvert, de l’Auvergne vers Compostelle (Salvator, 2021).
